Its roots can be traced to the development of teacher education programs within the PGRI higher education system, which emphasized the preparation of competent teachers to meet Indonesia\u2019s growing educational needs. As UPGRIS expanded and modernized its academic structure, the mathematics and science education programs were consolidated into a dedicated faculty, which later evolved into FPMIPATI to accommodate the increasing importance of information technology in education. Today, the faculty consists of four study programs: Mathematics Education, Biology Education, Physics Education, and Information Technology Education. Over the years, FPMIPATI has grown from a teacher-training faculty into a center for education, research, community service, and innovation in STEM and digital technology. The faculty actively promotes research, international collaboration, educational innovation, and quality assurance while maintaining its mission of producing graduates who are academically excellent, professionally competent, and characterized by strong moral values.
